Isbell — possibly the most soulful white boy around — is a whiskey-drenched phenomenon of a musician who will play a free set this evening at 6 p.m. If you can’t make it, or think record stores are just too retro, then go see him open for Cracker later on tonight at the Bluebird Theater.
