Etown Gains New Facility

Categories: Hearsay

etown.jpg Sounds like Nick Forster has cause to celebrate. The founder and president of etown has reached an agreement with Stephen Tebo for his organization to purchase the historic church Tebo's family owns on the corner of 16th and Spruce in Boulder. According to Forster, Tebo dropped the price of property by approximately $1.5 million. Valued at over $3 million, the 85-year-old building contains a sanctuary capable of seating 200 people, a gymnasium and three floors of office space. Forster says etown will continue to host its tapings at the Boulder Theater, while Etown Hall, as the new facility is being dubbed, will host more intimate performances, classes and workshops. -- Dave Herrera
