Here's a wrap up of all the great coverage you missed this week on Backbeat Online while you were busy preparing your plans for the Fourth of July and fuming with patriotic outrage at Rene Marie's decision to hijack the national anthem at the state of the city speech...

We brought the sad, sad news that Tickle Me Pink bassist Johnny Schou died on the day his group's new album was set to debut and we covered the in-store appearance that was hastily converted to a memorial service.

We reviewed concerts from Widespread Panic, Stevie Wonder, Gnarls Barkley, the Warped Tour, Reverend Dead Eye and lots more.

Speaking of Warped Tour, we also brought you some scandalous photos of the after party...

We reported on the return of chamber-rock ensemble Matson Jones for a couple of upcoming shows.

We delivered a Q&A session with Bryan Webb of the Constantines.

Finally, we reviewed some albums, including an offering from the Offspring.

That's all for this week. Enjoy your Fourth of July festivities, but try not to blow your hand off celebrating the birth of our nation, okay? -- Cory Casciato
