Top 10 Denver Band Names
Alright, so I just started editing next week’s section, and Tom Murphy wrote a preview on a band whose name appears in the list below -- you’ll have to pick up next week’s paper to find out who it is -- and it got me thinking about some of the all-time great (or ill-conceived, depending on your perspective) monikers that this town has ever seen. These are the ones that get my vote. Many of them, particularly the first one, are head-slappers, handles I wish I'd had the foresight to have coined, while others skirt the line between clever and ridiculous.
