3OH!3 really crosses over...

Just came across this item in the Las Vegas Weekly and it struck us as kind of funny: In a calendar listing for 3OH!3's show in Sin City a few weekends ago, the alt-weekly referred to Boulder's most renown wisenheimers as a "thrash metal group." We've heard 3OH!3's music described as a lot of things, but "thash metal" is certainly not a designation we ever expected to see. Horns, bros. And speaking of tres amigos, although there's been no official word yet, word has it the act will be heading out on this summer's AP Tour. -- Dave Herrera
