Rap-Up: Whygee and Sunken State unite for free EP

There's always an interest when like-minded solo artists come together to collaborate on a project. So when Colorado emcees Whygee and Sunken State announced they were releasing a seven-song EP called Suicide Watch, those who follow the local scene were excited to hear the results. To add to the excitement, the EP would be entirely produced by Colorado producer Kid Hum, known for his throwback, bass-heavy tracks.The result is a head-nodding, lyrical boot camp that anyone remotely interested in hip-hop should be checking out. Actually, there's no excuse not to check out the EP, since the fellas are giving it away for free. But if you do like it, they're asking for a $4 donation to put toward a full-length album.
