Coolest thing ever spotted

You're looking at a custom synthesizer built into the casing of a classic Atari 400 computer. Combining my love of synthesizers, custom-built gear, obsolete computers and 8-bit style sound in one small package, this thing is like my dream instrument. It's a one-of-a-kind masterpiece from Fridgebuzz Electronics (they also make some pretty cool guitar pedals), and unfortunately, it's already been sold (like I could ever afford it anyway...). If you visit the Atari Synth page on Fridgebuzz, you can get lots of technical details and a handful of samples of its sound, which, if you're anything like me, only makes the whole experience that much more bittersweet, knowing you can never have one. Wait, there's a note that says they're working on a handheld version ... shit, better start saving now!
