The Swayback's new song gets licensed

Just a few weeks into the new year, and already it's shaping up to be a good one for the Swayback. Just received word from Eric Halborg, who's celebrating the birth of his brand-new baby (congrats!), that the band has licensed two of its songs. "All Bad News," a newer track, is slated to appear in an upcoming episode of Burn Notice, a spy-centric thriller on the USA Network, and the song will also be used in Activision's Pimp My Ride 2. Beyond that, the group is waiting to hear mixes of the new songs it's been recording with Andy Johns, who just finished working on Steve Miller's new album at George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch. (Ed note: Heard back from Halborg -- although Johns wants to re-record that track, the version that's been licensed is the older one.)
