Earlier this week, the Fray captured the top spot at Twist & Shout, and we wondered if that trend would carry over nationally. Well, it looks like indeed it has, as Isaac Slade and company have toppled Springsteen, as Billboard put it, to claim the number-one slot on Billboard 200, by registering nearly 200,000 sales of its self-titled sophomore release. The exact figure is reportedly 179,000 units, which outdid the act's previous best sales week, Christmas of 2006, by 29,000 copies. Although the album has done well at the registers, it continues  to take a beating by the critics. Later today, we'll post a roundup of the more scathing reviews from across the country.
