With the recent consolidation of Radio & Records Magazine, which previously presented the annual Triple A Summit in Boulder, the future of the R&R Summit -- a veritable launching pad for acts in that format such as Jason Mraz that attracts program directors from across the country -- was in question. FMQB (Friday Morning Quarterback), another radio trade publication, has announced the FMQB Triple A Conference, which is slated to take place Wednesday, August 5 through Friday, August 7, at the St. Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder. Similar to the R&R Triple A Summit (previously the Gavin Triple A Summit), FMBQ's shindig will feature panels and over two dozen performances, including thirteen at the Fox, spread over three days, and an opening meeting featuring a special interview with T-Bone Burnett.
