Free Slurpees, cheap tickets and maybe more

Each July 11, everyone's favorite convenience chain 7/11 celebrates its anniversary with free Slurpee. This year, for its 82nd anniversary, they decided to do something a little extra -- give away free and discounted music. Because apparently, the 82nd anniversary is the live music anniversary. Good to know for my great-grandparents' upcoming milestone...

It works like this: go grab yourself a free Slurpee from one of the approximastely 300 million neighborhood stores (just kidding, there are apparently only 7,800 stores in North America. I could have sworn there were that many in Denver alone, but whatever). Enjoy your sickly-sweet confection, then find the code on the cup and enter it at Slurpee.com or text it to 33992. That enters you to win one of 711 (how clever!) $50 Live Nation Concert Cash prizes, redeemable at LiveNation.com. And even if you don't win, you're automatically eligible for $7.11 (how cleverer!) lawn tickets to a number of select shows (some additional fees will apply, of course, but presumably it will still be cheaper than full price...). The concerts haven't been announced yet, but hey, free slurpee, contest entry, and maybe a discounted ticket to a decent show -- and for $7.11, I'd go see damn near anything -- all for the time it will take you to walk into a 7/11?
