Yesterday, we posted a video from Katie Chastain directed by Nathan Johnson, a Denver bred artist/musician/director with loose ties to the Fray. Today, we bring you another swell clip from a director who's directly associated with Isaac Slade and company, Rod Blackhurst, the guy responsible for Fair Fight, the 80-minute documentary focusing on the Fray, and The Fray: There and Back, the coffee table photo book documenting the Denver group's rise to promience. Blackhurst, who at one time sold merch for the Fray, has blossomed into quite a director, with videos for both Crooked Fingers and Eric Bachman under his belt, in addition to his latest work. Hot on the heels of directing the Heyday's new video for "Come In or Stay Out," Blackhurst just recently completed a video for Meese for the song "Forward Motion," the presumed follow-up to the act's "Next In Line" video which premiered this past June. Shot entirely in black and white, the video bears the distinctive expressiveness of Blackhurst's photographic style. Check it out after the jump.
