Way to go, Katey Laurel! She was just named as one of seven finalists in the Nine West Vintage Voices competition. In an effort to promote its Vintage America collection, the boutique ladies shoes retailer has launched a contest to discover the next vintage American voice. The finalists, selected through video entries via YouTube, are competing for a grand prize that includes a write-up in Lucky Magazine, a complete wardrobe from the Vintage America line -- and the part Laurel is probably most stoked about -- a recording session in a Sony studio in New York, which will be released as a single on iTunes by HIckory Records and then promoted by the retailer via Facebook and YouTube.
