Freeloader: Introducing Thee American Revolution from Robert Schneider

Categories: Freeloader

Did you happen to catch this? Evidently, Robert Schneider, the ever prolific, insanely talented former Denverite that has worked on about a zillion projects -- okay, so maybe it just seems that way, what with Robert Bobert and the Bubble Machine, Ulysses, Marbles, oh and the Apples In Stereo -- has embarked on yet another project. Behold Thee American Revolution, an psych-pop outfit he formed with his brother-in-law, Craig Harris. If excessively overdriven guitars, vocals that sound like they're coming from a blown cone and songs that bear Schneider's unmistakable pop signature get you off, you might need some alone time. And while any new music from Schneider is cause for celebration, Revolution has the distinction of having the revered Elephant 6 logo attached to it. Download "Powerhouse" below.
