Moving Pictures: An acoustic version of "Absolute" by The Fray, directed by Rod Blackhurst

Categories: Moving Pictures

Did we mention how much we love that Rod Blackhurst guy and how lucky this town is to have this severely talented cat like him kicking around here? If we didn't ... oh, wait, what? We did? Well, what can we say? We're big fans of just about everything the guy touches. We got a sneak peek at the new project he's working on right now, and it's simply stunning, the quality, the concept, the way he's filming the musicians he's working with, everything. He's promises to lay it on us when it's ready-for-primetime, and we can assure you, it's going to knock your socks off. In the meantime, here's the latest Fray clip he's pulled from his archives and graciously sharing with the rest of us, a very subdued (seriously, Joe King's playing vibes, for chrissakes!) version of "Absolute," from the band's self-titled sophomore album, which, incidently, is up for a Grammy, if you haven't already heard.
