An expressive ode to Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church

As you may have heard, Fred Phelps and his cheerful band of hate mongers failed to show up at the University of Colorado campus last night as threatened for the same-sex marriage debate sponsored by the campus Catholic ministry. Pity. From what we hear, the students were all geared up and ready for a showdown.
Well, showdown is probably a stretch. Holding hands, carrying handmade placards and singing songs, the plan was to bite their tongues and protest peacefully. Commendable on their part -- seeing as how less enlightened types (read: the rest of us) probably wouldn't be as inclined to react as civilly and more apt to co-sign the sentiments of "Westboro Baptist Church" by I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In the House.
