Wovenhand tapped to open a string of dates for Tool, including Red Rocks

​File under: Awesome! Wovenhand, who has been touring Europe for the last month, just got tapped to open for Tool on seven dates before heading back to Europe in July. David Eugene Edwards and company start their stint with Tool in New Orleans this Saturday, June 19 and finish on the first night of Tool's two-night stand at Red Rocks on Monday, June 28. The timing couldn't be better, as Wovenhand's new album, The Threshingfloor, is slated for release next Tuesday, June 22 on Sounds Familyre.
