Amanda Palmer Radiohead cover album, ahem, creeps into the wild

In case you missed it, Amanda Palmer (of Dresden Dolls fame) has released a ukulele Radiohead cover album called, well, conveniently enough, Amanda Palmer performs the popular hits of Radiohead on her magical ukulele -- a title that's sure not to leave anyone confused.

Now, this is all well and good. We've already seen Rodeohead (bluegrass covers) and Stereogum's OKX, along with countless other covers, interpretations and manglings. What's weird about this one, though, is the fact you have to pay 84 cents for it.

Okay, 84 cents really isn't that much -- but the reasoning behind the odd price is that Radiohead is picking up 54 of those cents, while Palmer is walking away with the other 30.

UPDATE: the other 30 cents cover Paypal fees, while any additional donation goes to Palmer herself. So, the band that completely reinvented the pay-model of modern music is asking for a bit off the top from a cover band? Seems a bit off-kilter to us.

Either way, take a listen to one of the songs after the jump or pick up the whole album here.
