Props are due to the Foodchain, which has reportedly signed a distribution deal with Statik Selektah's Showoff Records imprint. Statik delivered the news himself last week during his Showoff Radio program on Sirius's Shade 45 channel (listen after the jump), when he played "Rich Girl Song," a cut featuring Big Pooh of Little Brother, from Corpses, the Foodchain's latest effort. The group, which has made the transition from a DJ-driven outfit to a live instrument ensemble, has already generated a number of write-ups from several prominent hip-hop blogs for the track "Fucc Niggaz," featuring Talib Kweli. Showoff is slated to reissue Corpses nationally sometime later this year.
