Last week, we posted an item about the passing of D. Scott Morris, a widely regarded member of the music scene who will be sorely missed.

We've just received word that a celebration of his life is being be held at the Toad Tavern, the venue owned by his former Denver Music Board partner, Brice Hancock, featuring performances by his Flash Mob bandmates as well as Hancock's band, Rubber Planet, the Melanie Susuras Band, the Trampolines, Potcheen and LD50.

The show, which is slated to take place on Saturday, October 16, is free and likely to be brimming with folks from the scene paying their respects and celebrating Morris's life.
