ZOMG keeps rolling at Milk Bar on Thanksgiving
If you're looking for a handy way to snap out of your tryptophan-induced coma tomorrow evening, Tim Alexander, aka DJ Tower, will be holding down his regular slot at Milk Bar for ZOMG Thursday. Tower has been running the weekly electro-heavy event for the better part of a year, bringing the likes of Arcade Fire, Cut Copy, Bloc Party and Passion Pit to the decks for the no-cover soiree.
"The night has been described as an old-time 'Lipgloss,' where the music is more diverse like it was a few years ago," Says Tower. "It's a lot of fun."
A few months back, Tower brought on DJ David Rucker -- of former City Glow fame at Paris Wine Bar -- and this week, the duo will be joined by a guest DJ, Mr. Pacman's own Avery Raines. This and every ZOMG Thursday at Milk Bar are no-cover, and Tower even promises to throw a little Brit-pop and dirty house in the mix, just like old times.
