Johnny Wolfhart, aka experimental noise-ist Nervesandgel, is working on a new track, and he's chosen to collaborate with everybody -- well, everybody in his social network anyway. Earlier this week, Wolfhart put out a call to his Facebook friends, asking for thirty-second to two-minute audio clips of anything they desired to submit for a secret upcoming project.

"I'm just now intrigued by social networking, " Wolfhart says with a laugh, "And I've wanted to collaborate with my friends, so why not collaborate with everyone I know?" Though he's only gotten around a dozen submissions so far, Wolfhart says he's going to start hounding people to give him anything -- he'll even take the sound of you playing Guitar Hero, or you taking a leak, if you wish. Wolfhart doesn't care if you're musically-inclined or not, he just wants your sounds.

So far, submissions have included a raw, unused track from Hideous Men, an interview some guy did with Bill Nye The Science Guy and a reverb-heavy recording of a little girl talking. Wolfhart's looking to collect around three hundred audio clips, and would also like to stress than anyone, friend or not, may submit sounds to him directly, via nervesandgel@gmail.com.
