Big Head Todd & the Monsters serenade astronauts aboard Shuttle Discovery

This morning, while most of us in the working world were sound asleep, the dudes from Big Head Todd and the Monsters were at Mission Control in Houston serenading the astronauts aboard the Shuttle Discovery on their last day in space with Big Head's song "Blue Sky."

The song -- which was reportedly penned as a tribute to STS-114, the first post-Columbia disaster mission -- received the most votes in a recent contest held by NASA, in which folks got to choose which tunes greeted the astros as they awoke from slumber. ("Blue Sky," as you might remember, was also a favorite of Hillary Clinton's during her presidential bid.) See what you missed below.
