The Beastie Boys's "Fight For Your Right - Revisited" trailer is awesome
The Beastie Boys have been men for quite some time now, but they've clearly never lost their sense of playfulness. The group's long-anticipated upcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 (no, you didn't miss part one), is shaping up to be quite an event, judging by the just-released "Fight For Your Right - Revisited" trailer, which features a who's-who cast of comedy (and non-comedy) players such as Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Rainn Wilson, Rashida Jones, Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon, Chloë Sevigny and Will Arnett.

If you haven't seen the video, you need to watch it. Right now. We'll wait.
Not only does this aptly named teaser feature "a super-fresh, old-school dance contest from the future" (and what appear to be the Beastie Boys from the future battling the Beastie Boys from the past) plus assorted mayhem and hijinks, but it also does exactly what a teaser was always intended to: We're intrigued as to how, exactly, the group will reprise such a monster hit as "Fight For Your Right," and -- even though, normally, a thirty-minute music video would make us sigh and mutter adjectives like "pretentious" under our breaths -- we are totally stoked to see how this story plays out in the full version, which we're envisioning as sheer silliness and insanity, a la Arrested Development.
Also: Elijah Wood makes a fabulous Ad Roc, no?
