In case you aren't going to see Chuck Sheen spit tiger blood all over the crowd tonight at Wells Fargo, there are plenty of other things to entertain you this fine evening. Not that Chaz isn't worth dropping a sizeable stack of loot to see if he WINS! or loses, but just in case you'd rather rock or drop that booty, we've got the word on all the pre-weekend festivities, because Thursday, in case you haven't heard, is the new Friday!

Tonight at the hi-dive, Dinosaur Jr. legend J. Mascis presents his musical genius to what is sure to be a capacity crowd of undoubtedly awestruck onlookers for a rare intimate solo performance. Doors are at 8 p.m., the show, which also includes Zach Tipton's I am the Dot, gets underway at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20, and available for purchase on the hi-dive's site.

Sub.mission just celebrated their fourth anniversary, and what better way to roll into the fifth than by getting with the folks at Reload and presenting Chase and Status at the Gothic Theatre. Fury, Subliminal and ServOne should hold it down pretty good for the opening sets, which kick off after the 8 p.m.

The Church will be fundraising for American Red Cross with GoGo Jell-O Wrestling, hosted by DJ MLE. How the judges were picked for an event like this is beyond us, but former Penthouse Pet, Nina, is one of them. The party gets kicked off at 9 p.m. for $10 ($15 for under 21).

Cervantes Ballroom is hosting the Zeta Beta Tau: ZBTahiti featuring Rodway and Mind Heist. Apparently, this is a legendary party amond DU students and frat brothers, but doors are open to everyone who wants to come out and party for $10 presale ($15 at the door).

The Otherside will be open with the BigWheel Mic Sessions. Live looping, masterful mixing, and layers upon layers of sounds await your ears at the Otherside for $9 - doors at 8p.m., show at 9p.m.

It's Always Sunny in Colorado, a skate film by Bucky O'Connell and 303 Boards and most likely void of any heavy bass and electro, will be at the Bluebird Theater. Tickets to the premier are $8-$10, and the doors open at 7p.m.

Beat the Clock at Funky Buddha is the usual special starting with $1 drinks and getting higher as the clock winds down. It's as if they want to shut down early, but are going to punish you with really good drinks specials anyway. DJ B-Money and the Almighty I.Z. will be slashing beats while you booze into the night.

Reggae on the Roof goes off tonight at Vinyl with The Versatile and Dj Chief Rocka, starting at 10 p.m.

Blake Jarrell, resident DJ for Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, will make the amps go BOOM at Beta Nightclub on the main floor. Trajikk and Sergio Santana will be priming the room, along with Kluch Beat Boo-tique.
