Sub.Mission's "Circus" moved from the Exdo Event Center to Fillmore to meet demand

When Sub.Mission decided to bring some of the most popular international dubstep stars, Flux Pavilion and Doctor P., to Denver, apparently, they didn't realize how high the demand is here for good bass music. Initially, the Sub.Mission folks booked the Exdo event center for the show. When the demand for tickets to Circus, as the event's been dubbed, began to exceed the supply, the Sub.Mission crew opted to move the shindig to the Fillmore, which, as you know, has a vastly different capacity than the Exdo.

"The sell-out capacity for the Fillmore is 3,600, which we felt was needed to meet the demand," says Sub.Mission promoter Nicole Cacciavillano. "The current Visa issues have created even more hype for these artists, and Flux and Doctor P have continued to blow up and have created more anticipation for an event than I have ever seen across the entire US."

Obviously, this is true. Sub.Mission has been throwing shows in and around Denver for a while, bringing in local and national acts, but nothing of this caliber. Cacciavillano says that even though Sub.Mission has thrown some big parties, the move to the Fillmore is by far their biggest production.

Some backlash came from VIP ticket holders via Facebook regarding the new VIP seating location, which had to be moved from the elevated stage at Exdo to the balcony at the Fillmore. With the new change, all prior ticket sales will still be honored, and the VIP's will be receiving a goody bag to offset the venue change.

The show is still scheduled for August 6, and tickets are available now through the Sub.Mission website.
