Tonight: Warren Haynes at the Ogden
Warren Haynes (playing his second show in a two-night stand at the Ogden Theatre) has a résumé that speaks for itself: Picking up the guitar as a preteen, the bluesman began playing with David Allan Coe by the age of twenty and went on to work with the likes of the Allman Brothers Band and The Dead. His own legacy as frontman is also strong, with the formation of Gov't Mule in the mid '90s.
Now into his third decade as a professional blues guitar master, Haynes brings his epic jam outs to the stage as a solo artist, pairing his intricate instrumental work with his timelessly rough and tumble voice. With dozens of albums under his belt, there is no doubt Haynes will happily satisfy his audience for his second evening in Denver. This show is sixteen and up, and tickets are $35. Doors open at 7 p.m., and performance begins at 8 p.m.
