Enjoy a new song from Jim McTurnan & the Kids That Killed the Man while McTurnan heals

Hope you're not expecting to see Jim McTurnan & the Kids that Killed the Man anytime soon. If you are, you're going to be a little disappointed. Dude's laid up on injured reserve for the immediate future while he heals up from a broken arm.

At the end of May, he was walking around in the dark, apparently, and stepped in a pothole and ended up breaking the radius in his left forearm, as well as two bones and a ligament in his wrist. "Such a dumb injury," he declares. The cast won't be removed until August, so he will be out of commission until at least then.

Luckily, we've got some brand new music to tide you over. He and the band recorded a brand new track with Andy Flebbe at Side 3 Studios for our Anatomy of Song project, which we've posted below for your listening pleasure. Below is a clip of McTurnan and company writing and rehearsing the song before they hit the studio. Later today, look for some footage of Della, the next band in our series, writing and recording their track.
