Mile Highlights: This week's concert news, local radio playlists and top album sales
Here's what's good in the Mile High City this week: In September, Zac Brown is due at Red Rocks, followed by Jay-Z and Kanye West at the Pepsi Center and Neon Indian at the Bluebird in October. On local radio, Fierce Bad Rabbit, Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, Flashlights and King Mob got some spins. Meanwhile, at our local record stores, Rose Hill Drive continued to do well at Twist & Shout and Albums on the Hill, while 311 claimed the top spot at Independent. Click through for a full rundown.
This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates
As reported yesterday, Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne tour is slated to make a stop at the Pepsi Center on Monday, October 10. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 8, the same day the album of the same name is set to drop.
Georgia-based, Grammy-winning country act Zac Brown Band hits Red Rocks on Monday, September 5. Reserved and general admission tickets ($44.50-$59.50) go on sale Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m.
Neon Indian, who will release Era Extraña this fall, comes to the Bluebird Theater with Com Truise and Purity Ring on Monday, October 10. Tickets (15.50 advance $17 day of show) go on sale Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m.
