After Kings of Leon's trainwreck of a show in Dallas over the weekend, it's not all that surprising to hear that the band has canceled the rest of its current tour, including a two night stand at Red Rocks on August 31 and September 1.

"We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire U.S. tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion," the band stated in a release, citing the old standby. "The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the U.S. dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band's international tour schedule."

Whether Followill is truly suffering from vocal problems and exhaustion appears to be up for debate. Our counterparts in Dallas were at the show on Friday night. Check out their first hand account, watch the video below, and then get a gander of bassist Jared Followill's post-show tweets, and judge for yourself. (We'd recommend consulting Caleb's Twitter page for more clues, but his @drunk_followill account appears to have gone the way of the dodo.)

Whatever the case, refunds are available at point of purchase (tickets purchased online or via phone will be automatically refunded). The band will presumably resume touring in Canada at the Rogers Center in Vancouver, BC, on September 28.

Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words.less than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatoradeless than a minute ago via Twitter for iPhone Favorite Retweet Reply

Utterly depressed. It's completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st. If bass solos & backing vocals were more popular, I'd be there.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply
