Mile Highlights: Denver/Boulder area concert news, local radio playlists and top album sales
Here's what's happening in music on the Front Range this week: On the concert front, shows from Mastodon, Stephen Stills and Trans-Siberian Orchestra were announced. On local radio specialty shows, Saints, Kinetix, the Fluid and Dave Beegle all got some spins. Meanwhile, at our local record stores, new and recent releases from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lil Wayne and Snake Rattle Rattle Snake were among this week's top sellers. This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates

With a new album, The Hunter, slated to hit stores on September 27, Mastodon will tour in support the disc and visit the Ogden Theatre on Wednesday, November 9. The Dillinger Escape Plan and Red Fang open the show. General admission tickets ($27.50) go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 a.m. Stephen Stills, the only artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice in one night (with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash) visits the Ogden Theatre on Sunday, November 13. Tickets go on sale, Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m. Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be at the Pepsi Center on Monday, December 26 for two shows (3 p.m. and 8 p.m.) as part of its eight-month-long world tour. Reserved tickets ($33-$67) go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 a.m.
