​Without a doubt, the biggest news in dance music this weekend is the inaugural Great American Techno Festival, John Templeton's brainchild that aims to bring top-tier techno to beer-drinkers and technophiles alike. And there's plenty more to round out Dance Card this weekend -- here's what's on our lineup:

GATF kicks off today at Skyline Park with a free, all-ages show featuring CacheFlowe, Ivy and Bones. Start your weekend off right with a techno lunch break ... they're playing tunes till 8 p.m., so that's a good enough reason to call in sick for the rest of the day. (noon, all ages, free)

The party moves to Beta tonight with Audio Injection vs Truncate and Angel Castro, presented by P.U.N.C.H.I.S. in the Beatport Lounge. Dubstep dandy High Rankin will hold down the main floor with Mystical Influence and Dirty Monkey. Bass, bass, bass. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)

And late tonight/early tomorrow morning, AAMP is joining the bash with the "I Love Techno" after-hours party at Guildwerks, featuring Derek Plaslaiko and Droog featuring Justin Sloe. John Debo's planned appearance at the Church tonight has been canceled (look for a rescheduled date in December); instead, the venue is bringing in the Global Fridays we all know and love. Hycloud, Skye, Floorbangers, Twenty42 and Phunke Elements will hold down the main floor, plus Klutch Beat Bootique in the mashup basement and Peter Elzi in the Retro Room. (8 p.m., 18+, ladies 21+ get in free all night)

Bonobo.

​Bonobo headlines the Fox Theatre in Boulder with a DJ set tonight; opening will be Philadelphia's Beard-o-Bees (the solo project of Jesse Miller from Lotus) and Colorado's own Human Agency. (8:30 p.m., all ages, $25-$27)

On Saturday, the Great American Techno Festival's main event goes down at Casselman's Bar and Venue; Camea and Tim Xavier will showcase pure American techno all night long. From 7 to 9 p.m., Casselman's will host a pre-show and pig roast featuring a downtempo set from Silo; afterward, it'll be all headliners, all night. (7 p.m., 21+, $15)

DJ Sneak will be responsible for the beats on Beta's main floor on Saturday night; Cognition + T-Rav and Marshall Monica will warm up the crowd for the self-proclaimed "house gangster," and Awesome Factory will hold down the lounge. (8 p.m., 18+, $10)

If you missed Bonobo in Boulder on Friday night, don't fret; he's playing the Bluebird Theater on Saturday with the Malah and Mikey Thunder opening. (9 p.m., 16+, $22.50-$25)

Wind down your weekend on Sunday at the Funky Budhha with Fall Into the Dirty Funk Squad: Funky house by Dylan, the Shiva, Himay, Mike Disco and Heather Suzanne. (3 p.m., 18+)
