Nominees announced for 5280 Hip-hop Awards, taking place this year at the Paramount Theatre

• I just don't get how anyone can openly say that they didn't do research in their community to pick artists when you're the owner of the company that has these award shows and then blame some mystery people for something they didn't do when it's your company. Stupid. It's not a real award anyway and just the simple fact that Jomeezius is not in there shows how careless they are of the music scene and who they want to promote. It's a politics crooked show meant to just rip people out of their money and push certain people I bet it will come as no surprise to when we find out the winners. The owner said we didn't go out there and find who's doing what out there in our scene......if you don't fully know, then why have an award show until you do fully know? Bullshit crooked job. It's the truth call me a hater if you want it is what it is.

• You cant have CO HIP HOP with out Montbello or Aurora but, Its not just Montbello and Aurora there are artist from PArk Hill, East Side, Colorado Springs, Not sure where Hypnautic and King Tef is from but I don't think its the A or the Bells just saying.......... Lenny-Lenn

• Man folk talk shit bout how nowbody support the scene but when someone does support the scene then folk talk shit about that.  And for the folks who work hard to put this award show together, for the artist that are nominated, and the artist who win this is a very RELEVANT awards show.  And to see if grow over the last 3 years and be at the Paramount Theatre is a very big deal for COLORADO HIP HOP.  Those that don't think so should try to do something to help the scene instead of complain, hate, trash talk, and bring a negative energy to something positive.   Lenny-Lenn
