Lipgloss co-founder helming two new monthly parties: Girls & Boys and Porn & Chicken

​Michael Trundle's plate isn't just filled these days. It's overflowing to the point where he's dropping crap everywhere -- but he's dropping it like it's hot. While he's preparing for a trip to the Big Apple next week for the Live4Ever official CMJ showcase, where he'll perform as boyhollow alongside VHS or Beta, LA Riots, Duke Spirit and more, he's getting ready to launch two brand-new parties, and that's in addition to Lipgloss, the celebrated weekly he co-founded that just passed the ten-year mark.

Girls & Boys Denver debuts on 10/22 at Summit Music Hall

​Although both parties made their name elsewhere, Trundle will be helping them make their mark in the Mile High City. The first shindig, Girls & Boys, is being imported from New York, where it routinely draws thousands of partiers. Unlike the NYC party, though, this one will only happen once a month or so. The Denver edition of Girls & Boys is slated to kick off at the Summit Music Hall on Saturday, October 22 with boyhollow and a host of DJs from the Kitsune tour, including RAC DJs from the U.S., Paris and Portugal, BeatauCue from France, Database form Brazil, Paul Anthony from Chicago and more.

Porn & Chicken Denver kicks off on 11/12 at Bender's Tavern

​The other is another import, this one's from the Windy City. Porn & Chicken, which is precisely what it sounds like, is set to go down once a month at Bender's Tavern, with the inaugural edition slated for Saturday, November 12. Unlike Girls & Boys, in which Denver is the fourth city in the country to host the party, this is the first spot outside of Chicago to get in Porn & Chicken. In addition to boyhollow, the "hard electro, tecno, bass and dubstep night," as Trundle describes it, will feature Paul Anthony, who's helping throw the party, the night's Chicago resident, Orville Kline, Dom and more.
