Global Dance Festival - The Movie in production and slated for release sometime later this year

​Global Dance Festival has become a staple in the Colorado dance music scene since launching in 2002. This year the festival grew to three days, hosting more than forty artists on three stages. In partnership with Triad Dragons, executive producer Taj Nahar and directors Gabriel Rovick and Travis Conklin of Focus 4 Design have set about producing a film covering the entire production, glimpsing the event's history and its musical transitions in an overview of the now-three-day party. The movie, slated to be released sometime later this year, will showcase a spectrum of electronic music's frontrunners: Sonny Moore (Skrillex), Gareth Emory, Alex Botwin (Paper Diamond), Dave Aude and more. The idea is to give insight into the kinds of struggles and triumphs the event has undergone in its transformation from Rave on the Rocks to Global. With interviews, show coverage, previews and history, Global Dance Festival - The Movie will be the film that explains it all behind the scenes.
