Here's what's happening in music on the Front Range this week: On the concert front, shows from Phil Lesh, Trey Anastasio, Rusko (Snowball Fest), NEEDTOBREATHE and Dr. Dog were announced; Ian Cooke, Bare Bones and Slim Cessna got spins on local radio; and new releases from Drake, the Rolling Stones and Ty Segall were among this week's top sellers at our local record stores. This Just In: New Concerts and On-sale Dates

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh is coming to the 1STBANK Center for a three-night stand from Thursday, February 16 through Saturday, February 18, with a stellar line-up that that includes John Scofield, Warren Haynes, Jackie Green and Joe Russo. Tickets ($49.75-$55) go on sale on Friday, December 2 at 10 a.m.

Trey Anastasio is due to visit the Boettcher Concert Hall with the Colorado Symphony on Tuesday, February 28 as part of his first ever symphonic tour. The programs, conducted by Scott Dunn on the four-city tour, will feature orchestrations of classic Phish songs and solo Anastasio compositions. Presale tickets will be available for Colorado Symphony subscribers Thursday, December 1, at 8 a.m. online at www.coloradosymphony.org and will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 8 at 10 a.m.

The Snowball Festival, slated to take place, Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4, in Avon, is announcing its headliners all this week. So far, Rusko and Unknown Mortal Orchestra are slated to play the festival. Advance tickets go sale tomorrow. NEEDTOBREATHE is coming to the Ogden Theatre on Monday, March 12. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m. Finally, Dr. Dog returns to the Boulder Theatre on Friday, February 3. Tickets ($17.50-$20) go on sale Friday, December 2 at 10 a.m.
