PAPER DIAMOND at the OGDEN | 11/4/11
Paper Diamond (aka Alex Botwin) cut the bullshit last night on its first headlining appearance at the Ogden. With the assistance of fellow Elm and Oak labelmate Raw Russ, Boulder locals Sorry For Partying, and Minnesota, Paper Diamond dropped new material and showed Denver what The Turnt Up tour has been displaying all over the country.

Photo by Britt Chester Raw Russ can be found at just about every high profile show that comes through Denver and Boulder. Keeping it nostalgic, he still scratches on vinyl over his computer tracks, which always warm the crowd up with classic hip-hop and rap beats.

You may recognize Guarino's name from the popular blog, ThisSongIsSick.com, where exclusive drops on local and national tracks are posted almost daily. Last night, SFP opened with Rustified's remix of Pretty Lights' "Hot Like Sauce," before remixing what sounded like GriZ's reproduced "Dream On." This would make sense seeing as GriZ had been roaming the Denver/Boulder area for a few days, playing shows at Club Vinyl and Cervantes on Halloween.
