BLKHRTS' BLK S BTFL gets nod in Pitchfork

​So far, Jeff Weiss has proven to be BLKHRTS' most ardent champion. After giving the crew dap in the LA Times earlier this year, Weiss, the L.A.-based music critic and esteemed Passion of the Weiss blogger, has seen fit to include BLKHRTS in a roundup of his favorite underrated rap releases of the year on Pitchfork. Of BLK S BTFL, which also happens to be one of our favorite releases this year (see the full rundown in our annual Moovers and Shakers feature in this week's paper), he says, "Listening to BLK S BTFL feels like riding a roller coaster in the dark: violent, dramatic, and with many unexpected turns."
