Lady Wu-tang enforces the Wu World Order tomorrow night at City Hall.
If it's going down in the streets, we've got you covered party style. Everything from weekly reggae parties, queer-centric open mike nights, an all female Wu-tang cover band and more. This week has already been a doozy, let us help you send it on home with something from our guide to getting down this week. Peep game:

Tonight at Eden, there is a queer-centric open mike poetry shindig going down that will feature the words and sounds of Holly Smokovitz and LadySpeech Sankofa. All are welcomed to come participate in the word.

Grammy award-winning rapper Common will be making an appearance at 24K after his Icelantic Winter on the Rocks jump off. This party also marks the kick off of the 3Deep (Francois Baptiste and Alvin LaCabe) and Kevin Kain Entertainment's new collaboration, The New Standard.

P-Nuckle is hosting an SIA After Party with Peace Officer and Isovee at Summit Music Hall on Friday night. It's free with your SIA badge, if you have one, but other than that it's only $5 to get in.

Saturday night, if you want to get irie and sexy on the dance floor, there are a plethora of places to get this done. DJ Uplifter is rocking out with Busy Bush and company for Opal Lions Saturday. $5 gets you in the door for some awesome drinks specials and reggae/world music vibes. The place gets packed and the dance floor is thick.

Also on Saturday, Lady Wu-Tang, an all female Wu-tang cover band assembled by Backbeat's own Ru Johnson, will be rocking at City Hall on Saturday night for the Wu World Order. The lineup features the area's premier poets, MCs and DJs, who will no doubt bring a ton of theatrics and shenanigas. Es-Nine will back the ladies up on sounds, Gyp da Hip, DJ Ear Attent and DJ Cavem will also be on hand. $10 cover, euphoria is free.

Under Armour Mountain 3rd Rail Jam Presents DJ Qbert with DJ Image, Kosha Dillz, Jane Bang, DJ Sound Supreme, DJ Dave Morris at Casselman's Bar and Venue.
