Look out, Gaga: Madonna's back to get all the "Luvin'" with a potent new drug called M.D.N.A.

Madonna could push Lady Gaga to the back burner this year, with a new album called M.D.N.A.
Forget Tim Tebow. From now until at least the day after the Super Bowl, everyone's going to be talking about another figure in pop culture who had the religion thing down long before Tebow did: Madonna.

Although Lady Gaga may never admit as much, Madge recently acknowledged the similarities between "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way." In an ever-graceful yet subtly snark-tastic way characteristic of the 53-year-old, Madonna told Newsweek in an interview for its January 30 issue that "Born This Way" was "a wonderful way to redo my song." Backhanded ouch.

Even better, Sunday night Madonna stuck it to both Gaga and Elton John, beating them in the Best Original Song Golden Globe for her song "Masterpiece," which ousted John's song "Hello Hello," featuring Gaga, from the Gnomeo & Juliet soundtrack.

"Masterpiece" wont' be included on Madonna's new album, but instead on the soundtrack for "W.E.," her latest project, for which she serves as creative queen supreme: screenwriting, producing and directing. Though "Masterpiece" had its doubters last night -- John said Madge "didn't have an f-ing chance" to win the Golden Globe -- the song is a nice return sonically to the feel of the Ray of Light and Music eras.

Never one to fully backtrack, "Masterpiece" represents an entirely different faction to Madonna's musical output in 2012, if the demo to her new single, "Gimme All Your Luvin'," is any indication. The single, which was originally reported to be titled "Give Me All Your Love," boasts both Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. on rhymes. In the video, which hasn't been released yet, we'll even get to see Nicki Minaj kiss Madonna -- thanks to a confirmation tweet from Minaj back in December. Holy hell, we're feeling sinful just thinking about it.

And if a Madonna-Minaj kiss isn't enough to make us forgive Madonna for the juvenile sound of the demo to "Gimme All Your Luvin',"her new album's title certainly is: If you haven't heard yet, Madonna has named her twelfth album M.D.N.A. Ever the witty one, the title suggests multiple meanings, including a nod to Madonna's own Deoxyribonucleic acid (or DNA, if you're not a scientist), or, as noted by anti-drug crusaders, M.D.N.A. also happens to be strikingly close to MDMA, the drug otherwise known as ecstasy. Perhaps you've heard of it.

More Super Bowl News: Super Bowl XLVI will be a night of the pop ladies. Madonna is doing the halftime show, and Kelly Clarkson will be singing the national anthem. Don't worry: Clarkson's begun rehearsing the words so she doesn't pull a Christina Aguilera.

Movers & Shakers: It's like it's 2011 all over again. Rihanna and Calvin Harris knocked LMFAO from the top and returned to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with "We Found Love." Adele's 21 is also back at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Drake's Take Care notches another week at number two, while El Camino, by The Black Keys, slides up four spots to number three. Lower on the chart, The Black Keys' favorite Canadian rock band, Nickelback, climbs one spot with Here And Now.

Rent-A-Rapper of the Day: Even though Rihanna is back at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with "We Found Love," she's released a new version of the track featuring unnecessary raps by Flo-Rida. Aaaaaaand precisely no one cared.
