Avicii
Every time Sound Tribe Sector 9 heads to Denver, you know the techno-hippies are going to come out in full force to hear the livetronica act; if you're more into house or trance, then you'll want to catch Avicii and Sydney Blu. Page down to take a peek at what else is on this weekend's Dance Card:

Livetronica act Sound Tribe Sector 9 will bring its Great Cycle Spectacles tour to the Fillmore Auditorium tonight and tomorrow night; if noodle-dancing is your favorite way to express yourself, this is the place to be (all ages, 7 p.m., $30-$40).

Swedish luminary Avicii is playing a sold-out show at the Boulder Theater tonight with Jontron and James Egbert; his melodic house music has earned accolades from Tiesto, Pete Tong and more (all ages, 8 p.m., $48.50 - SOLD OUT).

SPL and Triage will headline Beta tonight; the dubstep/psychedelic/progressive/house/techno artist SPL (aka Sam Pool) will turn your expectations around, and the hard-hitting trio Triage will open. In the Beatport Lounge, Emote Music presents 5270 Crew with Maya Amack, Doc Noe, Jared Wehrle and Computer Tutor (18+, 9 p.m., $5-$15).

DJ DRC
At Lumonics, DJ DRC hosts the inaugural Tune In Fridays; DJ DRC's work as a producer, lyricist and singer has been heating up San Francisco, and she'll be playing alongside Evenflo, McGRNWohnkey, DJ Raptor, Catch 22 and Hazy Meadow (all ages, 9 p.m., $20).

There's a soulful (and somewhat dubby) new act in the scene: Mansions on the Moon, which will take over the Larimer Lounge tonight in tandem with Flashlights and Treehugger (21+, 8 p.m., $15).

Bar Standard hosts Pleasure Dome Fridays; this week, you'll enjoy house beats by Marcus Mojo and Ricky Sinz (21+, 9 p.m.).

Sex Panther returns to Beauty Bar tonight; Max Klaw, Jah Jocker and J-Grilla will host this second-Friday bass party for your dancing needs (21+, 9 p.m.).

Sound Tribe Sector 9 will reconvene for the second night of its Great Cycle Spectacles tour at the Fillmore Auditorium tomorrow night (all ages, 7 p.m., $30-$40).

And if you have a ticket stub for STS9, you can get $5 off entry to the Bluetech show at Summit Music Hall (with support from Ill-Esha and Hoot); the socially conscious DJ/producer's organic, melodic and ambient noises have to be heard to be believed (18+, 8:30 p.m., $17.50 in advance, $20 at the door).
