While we're guessing this is probably already circled on your calendar in bright-red ink, just in case you haven't heard, the Descendents are coming to the Fillmore on Saturday, January 28, with Hot Water Music and Endless Monster! Yessir! If you haven't already bought your tickets because you're running a little low on cash after the holidays, we've got some great news for you! We've got VIP box tickets up for grabs. How would you and three of your friends like to be our guests at the show -- plus win a very limited-edition print by famed poster designer Lindsey Kuhn? Um, yeah, we thought you might say that. Page down for details on how to enter.

To enter:

1. "Like" us on Facebook, which you can do right here. (Note: If you're already following us on Facebook, you're already eligible to enter; proceed to step two.)

2. Sign in to Disqus with your Facebook account and then leave us a comment below with your name (the one that appears on your driver's license) and e-mail address (if your Facebook page doesn't have your contact info, so we can send you a note if you win), and tell us what your favorite Descendents song is and why. Then check back on Wednesday, January 25, to see if you've won. Good luck!

I'm Not A Loser is easily my favorite song off my all-time favorite album from my all-time favorite band. Milo Goes to College, in many ways, made me the badass I am today and this song in particular comforted and motivated me through grade school in the god awful town I grew up in. I always hated the judgement and immorality many of the people there had and this song gave me a smug sense of pride, especially being the lone Descendents fan of the town... "That Place Sucks." I'm a poor student about to miss THE once in a lifetime chance ... Please get me there!

'Wendy' - As a young buck growing up in East Tennessee, my punk music selections were pretty limited. I stumbled upon the Descendents 'Enjoy' by accident at Cats Records and Tapes in Oak Ridge, TN, and I was sold on the toilet paper roll album cover. I must have listened to it a dozen times that day. Soon after, I took control of Mom's tape deck as we car pooled to middle school one day. Much to my horror - I had no idea 'Wendy' was a Beach Boys cover - my mom exclaimed ' Oh I know this one!' and sang along. Bitch did the same thing to me a few months later with Agent Orange's cover of 'Pipeline'

Good, good things because it reminds me of a certain place and time and brings a smile (smirk) to my face.

"Clean Sheets", because the mental picture of a middle aged man with a PhD in Biochemistry singing to his pillow may be one of the best things punk rock has given the world.

"Thank You" because that song shows respect to those who have come before

Jean is Dead...is there a better howl of primal pain than "Now you're gone and I'm alone?" I don't think so. A close second would be "I Wanna Be A Bear" because I do.

Oh yeah... Michael Kenneally michaeljkenneally@gmail:disqus.com And I'd like to change my vote to "Kabuki Girl" because anyone that comes up with the couplet rhyming "sayonara" with "tomorrow" is well, really something else.

Wait, wait, wait!! I'd like to change it to "I Wanna Be A Bear!" Not sure the fellas had in mind the alternate meaning the term "Bear" would take on in the years following 1982.
