Catch Molina Speaks's Bronze Future chapbook release party tomorrow at Grohaus.

If you manage to survive today's snowpocalypse, there's plenty of party goodness happening in the Mile High City this weekend. It's Bob Marley's birthday, in case you feel like celebrating. Oh, and speaking of celebrations, Tooey's will toast to the Clinton-era at the Aquarius edition of the '90s House Party, and the Analog Space crew represents the underground, literally, at the Meadowlark. Govahment Promotions will host its 1st Annual Bob Marley Birthday Tribute jump off this Friday night in conjunction with Africana Café. This Habesha tribute will feature Ethiopia (via Las Vegas) DJ Amin 702 for the hottest reggae, Habesha and hip-hop tunes. $10 cover with a discount for all those in Bob Marley apparel.

Also Friday night, the Analog Space crew will be kicking off it's Fever Pitch series that, according to Peter Black, is designed to "reduce the hype and increase the fun." No cover and to one must be 21+up to rock at this Meadowlark party. DJ Bedz and 95.7, meanwhile, are hosting Ultra Sheer Nightclub' 18+up crowd for the hottest Top 40 dance music. DJ Shake One will be on hand as a guest, along with a video system by Elite Technology to enhance the party. Door at 9pm. No cover. Bring it.

Molina Speaks will be mingling with the people for the release of his "chapbook," Bronze Future: Letters to 2045, a journey through Chicano history and a view of the future. This event starts promptly at 6:30 at the Growhaus (4751 York Street). There will be food, performances and community gathering. All are welcome.

On Saturday night at Tooey's, Xencs, Bravo One (One Eyed Kings) and Joe Blizzy will be holding court for the Aquarius version the '90s House Party get down hosted by Es-Nine, Cysko Rokwel, Lazy Eyez, and all your favorite hip-hop party rockers. Do this. No cover, 21+up.
