Global Dance Festival three-day passes to go on sale Wednesday
Britt Chester Skerrit Bwoy just heard tickets to Global Dance Festival would be on sale soon.
Get your track pads and refresh buttons ready, electro-heads! Exclusive three-day passes for the 2012 Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater are about to go on sale. This Wednesday, February 15 at noon, Triad Dragons are releasing exclusive, three-day passes to the largest electronic music festival in the Rocky Mountains. "We were going to only sell 10,000 three-day passes originally," says Ha Hau, CEO of Global Dance Music, "But some people may only want to see this artist, or that artist, so we opened it up."
Last year's Global Dance Festival saw over 25,000 people file into the famed Red Rocks. Trying a new idea, Triad Dragons added a third night with a more diverse line-up of music including Big Gigantic, Kid Cudi and Empire of the Sun, to name a few. And though the first night, which saw a great mix of genre-converging artists, didn't sell out, it did create a buzz about new dance music entering the scene. The three-day passes for this year's edition go on sale this Wednesday, February 15 at noon. We'll post more specific information when we have it.
In the meantime, you've probably already heard, but in case you haven't: Triad Dragons will also be introducing a new event this year, Global Dub Festival, due to the high demand Denver has placed on the dubstep music scene. Finding success in dubstep shows at the Fillmore Auditorium last year, and the Colorado Convention Center for New Year's Eve, Triad Dragons have decided to bring Flux Pavilion and Doctor P back again for bass-focused event.
