4. Dubb's Pub (5301 S. Broadway Littleton)

Dubb's Pub offers karaoke Thursday through Saturdays, and plenty of room to stretch out and listen. Along a stretch of South Broadway that features car dealerships and dispensaries, Dubb's attracts an enthusiastic crowd of singers. Grab a drink and a seat, and get ready to hear some very unique versions of Johnny Cash, Bon Jovi and Fleetwood Mac as the devoted karaoke crowd does it their way.

I figured you guys had updated this story from last year....but no. Still have the worst karaoke bar ever as #2 (Armida's is great for terrible food and pretentious people). Still have Benders on here, which no longer exists (Johnny Cash's face has long since been replaced with some d-bag looking hipster art). Still some great picks on here, but you shouldn't be posting stories from over a year ago like they're something new.

That's hilarious I was just there last week and it was pretty happening though I didn't like the dj as much as Katie Bandimere

"Field Of Dreams" by Roy Orbison???? Try "In Dreams"!!! WOW! Nice research! NOT!

Erm, Benders is no longer Benders. Time to update and maybe keep it to 2 pages.

Laura Rutter-Carnival and Katie Bandimere #10 on the list is The Rear Inn. Aww, those were the days.

Spread across ten pages. Really, Westword? I probably could have lived with five pages, but this is ridiculous. You were shooting for ten clicks, but you only got one from me.

Charlie Brown's was... I don't drink anymore though so Karaoke isn't as much fun LOL

Decided because of this article to visit number one...and was highly disappointed. Don't get me wrong the bar is great, bartenders and staff are awesome, patrons are friendly-ish...though most can't carry a tune in a bucket (the worst of which I am listening to right now murdering "i told you so") ...the way things are run suck. They started late, had absolutely no announcements, no instructions on how things are run...the kj was rude and very unfriendly. We were here for 3 hours before they started the new rotation...on a good note, it is a big bar, the dance floor is nice, and the stage is cool...but I will not be coming back here. Park centere lounge and dubbs pub are my 2 favorites on the list...I want to know who the hell decided this place was the best so I can slap them.

That's too bad that Maloney's Tavern didn't make the list!  With $4 You-Call-Its (including TOP SHELF!) that certainly makes for a fun time during their weekly Wednesday Karaoke nights!Maloney's Tavern1432 Market St.

JFC I'm with Gabriel on the page load thing.....spent as couple mins looking for the "print article" button, didn't find it, now I'm grouchy and don't give a shit about catching up on westword.  Brutally honest perhaps but maybe you can use the feedback.  Later taters...

#Correction: The song Scorpio Steele sung was "In Dreams". "Field of Dreams" is a Kevin Costner movie.

Thanks for making me look pretty, Jon. The only thing missing from the artical are the names of The "KJ's". They are what makes or breaks the show, The Rear Inn, has Sean Foreman in charge of making us sound Grrrrreeeeat!

Forgotten was Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill - they do LIVE BAND karaoke on Tuesday nights. You get to get up on stage and have an actual band play behind you! It's so much fun!

There is no such thing as a "best" Karaoke (Japanese for "tone deaf") bar.

El Charrito also has a ticker that runs across the bottom of their screens with "The List" so you know exactly when you're up. Excellent feature.

10 pages for 10 bars? Really, Westword?

Put this in a format that doesn't make it obvious that you're whoring for page views and maybe I'll read it.

just select the "Print Article" button to the right of the comments button and a new tab will open with all the content in one page

Hi Gabe, We wanted to split the content across ten pages so each bar would be on its own page and users could avoid having their browsers load 30 images, all at about 200 KB each, on a single page. Thanks for the feedback.

And thank you for the reply, Nick. The 'give each bar its own page' part is reasonable. But the image loading excuse is really only valid if I'm trying to load web pages with a dial-up modem in a cabin behind Blackhawk. I think I'll stick with my original assessment. It's not like you're the only site that does it, after all.

You might be surprised at the number of users who operate their browser with 15 open tabs, which can bring speed down to glacial levels.
