I was once in a band that opened for Ted Nugent back in the Amboy Dukes days. It sounds cooler than it was. He was a jerk then and it's pretty clear that hasn't changed.

As a Morrison resident, I find it fascinating to observe the "traffic manners" of the fans of various groups throughout the summer. Here are the conclusions I've drawn: Hippies might smell like patchouli and marijuana, but they carpool, and they allow me to move through their midst in order to reach my house safely and with little delay. Tuesday night was awful -- second only to a few years back when Toby Keith headlined Red Rocks. When I finally made it back to the house and looked up whose fans were exhibiting such blatant jackassery, I wasn't surprised in the least to see Ted Nugent on the bill. Either his fans do not know how to read (per the "Right Lane Ends" sign on the way into town), or they have no regard whatsoever for anyone else who has to encounter their horseshit. (My guess is, it's the latter.)
