Jane's Addiction, Swans, Aaron Freeman lead this week's shows

After packing the FIllmore Auditorium last week, Jane's Addiction announced a show at the Pikes Peak Center.
Things might be slowing down a bit with the bigger concert announcements, but there was still a fair amount of activity during the last week, including Jane's Addiction at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, Swans and Xiu Xiu at the Gothic Theatre, and Aaron Freeman (aka Gene Ween) at both the Fox and Bluebird theaters. This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

Jane's Addiction, which delivered a stellar show at the Fillmore Auditorium last week, just announced a new show at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs on Sunday, August 26, as part of the third leg of the band's Theater of the Escapists Tour. Big Black Delta opens the show. Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow, June 6, at 10 a.m. through the band's website, and to the public on Friday, June 8. Reserved tickets are $36.50 to $49.95.

Good news for Ween fans upset by the band's recent split; Aaron Freeman (aka Gene Ween) will be at the Fox Theatre on Fri., Nov. 2, 8:30 p.m. (tickets are $22/$25 and go on sale on Friday, June 8 at 10 a.m.) and the Bluebird Theater on Saturday, November 3 (tickets are $22.75/$25 and go on sale on Saturday, June 9 at 10 a.m.).

Swans, who are set to release the double disc The Seer in August, headline the Gothic on Monday, September 24 with Xiu Xiu opening. Tickets ($20-$25) are on sale now.
