Photos: Jack White played a last-minute show this afternoon on Colfax
Before his sold-out concert tonight at Red Rocks, Jack White played a last-minute outdoor show this afternoon outside Isdajo Automotive. The show was announced via the Third Man Records Twitter account just thirty minutes before the first song, but enough people saw it to attract quite an audience for the brief set. The tweet read: "Jack White. B show. B there. B square. Isdajo Automotive. 3411 W. Colfax Ave. Denver. 3:30 PM." Below are a few photos from the set.

Slide show: Jack White's secret Denver show
Backbeat's Josiah M. Hesse was in the audience and has this recap of the quick set:
Minutes before the show began, Jack White tweeted the secret location of his improvised Denver show: Isdajo Automotive at 3411 West Colfax. Those lucky enough to catch the tweet -- all 120 to 150 of them -- headed up to the random venue choice just in time to catch a mustachioed White in blue fedora and bowling shirt bust out a raucous set that could be heard blocks away.
The ever expanding crowd (apparently not employed at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon) climbed atop fences, stacks of tires and the poor sagging roofs of parked cars to catch a glimpse of the street-level band.
White, with his solo touring band, rolled through a thunderous cover of Dick Dale's "Misirlou," and a squealing, feedback drenched rendition of the White Stripes classic "Ball and Biscuit," among other crowd pleasers. The second White struck his final guitar chord and snapped a split-second "thank you" to the audience, he and his band quickly leaped into a nearby limo-bus and drove away, leaving a sweat-drenched crowd to gawk at each other, wide-eyed, mocking those who rode up just too late.
