It's not Christmas yet, but you'd certainly be excused for thinking otherwise, what with the radio already playing round-the-clock holiday tunes and the new shows we've been gifted with. Looks like somebody's been on their best behavior (god knows it wasn't us). Whatever the case, we're now being rewarded with a new date from Morrissey at the Temple Buell and a bunch of other shows, including an early spring concert from Sigur Rós at 1STBANK Center, Divine Fits at the Bluebird, Bloc Party at the Ogden. Wait, there's more. A lot more. Carrie Underwood at 1STBANK; Big Head Todd at the Fox; Churchill at the Ogden; the Used and the Darkness, both at the Summit. Page down for the full rundown.

In other, ahem, big news this week, Big Head Todd and the Monsters are playing a show at the Fox on Saturday, December 15, that's almost certain to sell out, like, instantaneously. Tickets ($35.00) go on sale Friday, so don't miss your chance to pick some up.

The Used, a band that hasn't been to Denver in quite a while, is coming back to town on Monday, January 14, for a show at the Summit Music Hall as part of the Take Action Tour 2013 with We Came As Romans, Crown the Empire and more. Tickets ($27.50) are on sale now. The Darkness is also coming to the Summit Music Hall on Friday, February 1. Tickets ($25) for this show go on sale this Friday, November 16, at 10 a.m.

the music lineup at winter x games is ridic this year! Bloc party is playing 1.23 at the belly up, calvin harris 1.25 and 1.26 (for free with tyler the creator), and major lazer on 1.27 for free on site! I'm going to x this year just to check the music. I heard their was a film screening of green day's new film "Quatro" as well on one of the days! perfect for my broke ass college budget!
