Shake things up at the after-party for Icelantic at the Gothic Theatre, featuring Diplo, Walshy Fire, Trini Chris, Luck & Lana and DJ Nykon -- who'll no doubt be mixing up all kinds of goodies for your dancing pleasure. (11:30 p.m., 18+, $25-$30)
Helicopter Showdown joins Lumonix and Dodger on the main floor at Beta tonight with bass-heavy tunes; in the Beatport Lounge, those who prefer to revel in underground techno will find the UNstructured Sounds showcase with Hilary Warner, Renato Lopez and Chris Mitchell. (9 p.m., 18+, $10-$15)
Head to NORAD for Coven, an all-female-artist night featuring Amanda Jones, Starr and Slave1 playing electro, industrial, darkwave, witch house, dark indie, nuwave and all that good stuff. (10 p.m., 21+, $5-$8)
Denver Disco presents Need + Necessity, Falcon Punch and Charles B with funky, fresh house beats landing at Bar Standard tonight. (9 p.m., 21+, $3-$5)
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2
Moguai takes over the Beta sound system with Cognition + T-Rav and Marshall Monica on Saturday night; lace up those dancing shoes tight because it's going to be quite a journey! (9 p.m., 18+, $10)
Super Vision and Paul Basic will be getting down at the Bluebird Theater on Saturday night with OG Status and Jay Fresh. We don't know what will happen, but we do know there will be bass and drums galore. (9 p.m., 16+, $16-$20)
Greg Eversoul offers up a Passport to the World of House Music on Saturday night at the Funky Buddha with resident first-Saturday Passport hosts Fiat Luxx and Aneliz. (8 p.m., 21+, no cover)
Get to Opal on Saturday night for the Dirty Funk Squad with special guest Shaggz offering up everything from trip-hop to deep house -- as long as it's got soul. (9 p.m., no cover)
